Rob Portaro

Director

As a licensed real estate agent (Individual and Corporate) with over 20 years of experience in the finance and property sector, Rob brings deep insight into the Melbourne market to Luxton Homes.

He has successfully established and managed multiple businesses across land subdivision, building, and construction, collectively delivering more than 5,000 house and land packages since 2007. His broad commercial expertise and strategic vision underpin the continued growth of the business.

Robert is passionate about shaping thriving communities through quality housing and carries that same enthusiasm into his personal life, supporting his son’s pursuits at the racetrack.

Samuel Di Giacomo

Director

A Registered Building Practitioner with over 25 years of experience, Sam is a highly respected leader in Victoria’s residential construction industry. He has led construction departments for some of the state’s largest builders, overseeing the delivery of thousands of homes.

At Luxton Homes, Sam is focused on refining construction processes and building strong relationships with staff, trades, and suppliers. His proactive approach ensures consistent delivery across quality, timeframes, and budgets.

He brings that same focus to his personal pursuits, continually working to improve his golf game.

Leon Jin

General Manager

With more than 15 years of experience in the building industry, Leon has progressed from an Accounts Clerk to senior leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer, before becoming General Manager at Luxton Homes.

A qualified CPA with a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, he combines financial expertise with strategic leadership to drive operational performance and sustainable growth.

Leon is passionate about contributing to an industry that turns vision into built form, shaping communities for the future. He applies the same energy outside of work, enjoying snow skiing and tennis.

Harry Brown

Operations Manager

Harry brings over a decade of experience in the wholesale residential construction industry, with a practical and solutions-focused approach to operations. He began his career in insurance building, developing strong skills in customer service, communication, and stakeholder management that continue to shape his leadership style.

At Luxton Homes, Harry plays a key role in improving systems, driving efficiency, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

His attention to detail extends beyond the workplace, whether refining his fantasy NBA team or analysing the performance of his Richmond Tigers.

Sam Luppino

Estimating & Procurement Manager

Sam brings a disciplined, results-driven approach to his role as Estimating & Procurement Manager at Luxton Homes. With a background in banking and finance, and a long-standing passion for building and renovating, he combines financial insight with practical construction expertise. He has held a range of roles across major residential builders, developing a strong understanding of cost control, supplier management, and procurement strategy.

At Luxton Homes, Sam focuses on delivering quality outcomes while maintaining strong commercial performance, carrying that same drive into his personal life through fitness and family.

Richard Reed

Building Manager

With more than three decades of experience across construction, joinery, and landscaping, Richard brings extensive technical knowledge to his role as Building Manager at Luxton Homes. He began his career in window manufacturing, progressing from apprentice to factory foreman, before moving into landscaping and residential construction.

At Luxton Homes, he leads with a hands-on approach, ensuring high-quality outcomes across every build while mentoring his team to adapt to an evolving industry.

Richard applies the same high standards in his personal time, continually challenging himself on the golf course.

Zachary Glenister

Sales Manager

Zac brings extensive experience in property investment, sales management, and business development to his role as Sales Manager at Luxton Homes.

He has held senior leadership positions across the property sector, specialising in international investment and consistently delivering annual sales in excess of $80 million. Since joining Luxton Homes in 2021, Zac has driven significant sales growth, strengthening the company’s position in the Victorian market.

Known for his energetic and relationship-driven approach, he builds strong connections across clients and teams, and channels that same energy into coaching his sons in their sporting pursuits.
